I went outside today to take some test shots, and see if I could get the angles I wanted with just my phone , but after a little while , it got too hot , and I went inside to do other things like , lie on my bed and not finish up my assignments (which are actually due very soon , mind you) . Also , I was made to mend my little brother's khaki coloured school pants , which I sewed up grudgingly with hot pink thread because I'm a terrible terrible bitter older sister , so now his crotch is highlighted by a bright tacky pink (ha-ha , little brother , ha-ha) , and I agreed to shorten the sleeves of some of my best friend's shirts .
Sigh , the things people make me do just cause I can sew .

Anyway , moving on to other thing . Last week , I had my damn workshop presentation at college , and I decided to present on one of my favorite designers : Tsumori Chisato . I used a Japanese children's book as part of my inspiration , and I designed something a little more structured than her usual drapes and flowy silhouette .
I printed my illustration on tracing paper , and painted the background separately , so when you put the two pieces of paper together , the colours came through the tracing paper and you could also move the print around the garment for different effects . I was really happy about the way the presentation went and my lecturer got so excited , I think she talked more than I did , and then after it was all over , she asked me to draw more designs because she wanted to show other people , and although it was good that she liked it , extra work is always something we don't wanna celebrate T____T
